I'm back with a short post...
because i don't wanna disappoint my baby with no updates on my blog haha.
It's been a very eventful time and my mind's been really busy and occupied with many things... especially business.
but, FTL2010 was just over, and i just came back from Indonesia.
made many new friends and learnt many new things.
i wanna give a big shoutout to these people:
Aus Ninja:
for dropping so much knowledge, for sharing so much, for the stupid and fun times, for bringing up an IHOW chapter here, and most of all, the education.
AKA RA:
for sharing your love of streetdance, your life, for the advice, for being such a nice guy, for the inspiration, and the motivating words you said in the interview.
AKA KIN:
for the classes, the advice, the love, the knowledge, your "hong hong" pose, and of course, for the interview with me..
Princess 1G:
for taking the time to do the interview with me.
DJ Mulder:
for being such a nice guy, for trying your best to converse in English with me, for dropping some good music (FINALLY) at FTL2010.
DJ Batsu:
for playing my track @ KOD6!
Hozin + Jr. Boogaloo + Funky Lia:
for killing my track @ KOD6!
KoKoBa Crew:
for planning my trip to Indonesia very well, for bringing me around everywhere, and for feeding me with dope food that i can never ever get here... especially Nasi Keju, Nasi Gila, Nasi Udung (i dont know if that's how you spell it). the chicken at McDonald's in Indonesia tastes better too. But the king is the Satay (spelt Sate in Indo). at SGD 12cents a stick... you can never ever beat that.
Michael Sim:
for being a great partner for FTL2010. i learnt so much just from practising with you. i had a blast!
all the SG / M'sia / Vietnam poppers who made it to FTL2010:
for the great time, for all the love shared for dance.
Chris Su:
for organising FTL2010.
and most of all
my lovely lady:
for being who you are, for loving me so much, for standing your ground against the untouchable Princess 1G, for being crowned as one of the members of I.H.O.W Singapore, and for everything else :)
the silence is over.

It's been way long since i last updated.
First off, i wanna say that O School Recital 2009 was dope.
Anyways, I've been wanting to post these pics up for a couple of weeks now, but I had to wait till I gave it to Baby before i can post this.
Basically, i snagged myself two copies of Jan 2010's Dengeki Hobby, and to commemorate their 11th Anniversary, they bundled a FG plamo kit of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Head display stand. I decided I'd get my gunpla gear going again and make one for baby while making one for myself. So i decided to bust out some of the spraypaint in my stash and put them to good use.
This is the FG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Head Display Base box.

The runners

After panel lining, i was looking at the pics of other modellers' work of the head display base to get some inspiration (notice my favourite iridescent color spraycan? i wanted to give baby a majestic / pristine looking unicorn)

Before spraying

After spraying (you can't see much here...)

But you can see the effect it gives here! it made the whites a little pearly.

While waiting for the paint to dry, i decided to start spraying my set, straight onto the runner.

the color i chose was Tamiya's "Metallic Black"...

after the iridescent paint dried, it's assembly time

showing off the clear parts (i'm a sucker for clear parts!)

showing off the effect of the iridescent color

and now to assemble my set. i ended up picking Gunmetal for the color instead of metallic black...

it really looks like it's made of metal...

and now, it's a bunch of pics of the completed kits.

i'm currently working on a Susanowo (stupid me... i should have bought the Masurao instead...) and a HGUC 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode) to match with my display base.
should keep me busy for some time!
i'm glad you like the Unicorn Gundam, baby!

Ah, the smell of good times, good memories and most of all, good company...
it comforts me. especially now, of all times.

Just so you know, baby, haha...
things have been rather quiet here on this blog for the past couple of months...
many, many things have happened over this period, but i might or might not blog about it.
what have i been up to?
trying to make music.
trying to make money.
trying to make things right.
trying to set things straight.
life's been fun with baby lately, i really enjoy her company and i'm enjoying it more and more! :)
i've also been taking a whole bunch of videos but i've not yet updated the links here on the blog. if you're interested, visit my youtube channel.
that's about all for now!
the silence is over.

It's been way too long since i last posted on my blog.
things have been really REALLY hectic. life has changed a fair bit.
but one thing's not changed... my friends are there for me. my family is there for me. and my baby's there for me. and that alone keeps me happy and going.
i still miss dance.
working on a website for the store. 40% done up, only because of the products segment. it's gonna take awhile.
anyways, the main point of today's entry is my new theory. (and it's also a note to myself)
based on the current Active Noise Control theories and doppler effect tests, i have a theory on how to silence soundwaves and at the same time, filter out certain sounds. but, as of now, it's a theory. in practice, it has worked only on certain occasions, under certain circumstances. what makes the difference, i have yet to find out.
tweaking process will begin shortly :)
i wonder if this will succeed.
in the meantime, come visit the store!
